3. Refit & balance
Tyre goes back on, gets balanced, valve checked, pressures set. You’re back on the road.
When a tyre can’t be repaired
Can my tyre be repaired or do I need a new one?
Punctures in the central tread area are usually repairable. Sidewall damage, very large holes or tyres that have been driven flat for a long distance generally cannot be safely repaired. We’ll inspect and tell you either way before charging anything.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes. Drive in during workshop hours. If we’re between bookings we’ll fit you in straight away — otherwise we’ll book the next slot.
How long does it take?
A standard plug-and-patch repair generally takes 20–30 minutes once the wheel is on the machine, including refitting and balancing.
I have a slow leak — can you find it?
Yes. We dunk the tyre to find leaks from punctures, valve seals or rim corrosion, then quote the right fix.
