How you can use this site

You can browse this website, search for tyre sizes and view prices without giving us your name or contact details. We only receive your contact details if you choose to send a quote request or contact us.

Website usage information

We collect basic information about how this website is used, so we can understand what customers are looking for and improve the site. This includes pages viewed, tyre searches, and which buttons or links are used — for example tapping the phone number, the WhatsApp button, or the directions link.

To join those actions into a single visit, your browser stores two random identifiers for this website: one for the browsing session and one that lasts longer so we can recognise a returning visit to this site. These are random numbers created by your browser. They are not your name, they are not shared with other websites, and we do not use fingerprinting or any technique that tries to identify your device.

We also record where a visit came from — for example a Google search, an online ad, or a link we sent you by text message — so we can understand which of our advertising is worth continuing.

We do not put your name, phone number, email address or vehicle registration into this website usage information.

If your browser asks us not to track

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not create or store those website identifiers, and we do not collect the website usage information described above. The website works exactly the same either way.

Quote and contact forms

When you send a quote or contact request, you give us details such as your name, phone number, and what you need — for example a tyre size, your vehicle, or your registration. We use this to prepare a quote, check stock, and contact you about your enquiry.

Each quote or contact request is delivered two ways at once: by email to the workshop through a third-party form service (FormSubmit), and directly into RingFence, our own business system, where it becomes a customer enquiry for staff to action. We are keeping the email delivery in place while we complete the move, so no enquiry can be missed.

Tyre and vehicle searches

Tyre searches check live stock and pricing from our tyre supplier. If you use the registration lookup, the registration you enter is sent to a vehicle-data provider to identify your vehicle and suggest the right tyre size. We record that a registration search happened, but we do not store the registration number itself in our website usage information.

Phone calls

Calls to the workshop are handled through our phone system, which may record and transcribe calls so we can check details of a job, keep track of what was quoted, and improve service. If you would prefer a call not to be recorded, please tell the person you are speaking to.

Our business system

We use RingFence, our business-management system, to run the workshop: customer records, quotes, bookings, jobs, invoices and the phone system. Information you give us in an enquiry or on a call is held there so staff can serve you. It is used to run our business, not sold.

Who else sees your information

We share information only where it is needed to do the job or run the business — for example our tyre suppliers when ordering stock, the vehicle-data provider for a registration lookup, the form-delivery service above, and the providers that host our website, phone system and business system.

Keeping and removing information

We keep enquiry, job and call information for as long as we need it to serve you and to keep proper business records.
